PERCH was hired by a realtor to inspect a condominium with a sagging floor in Quechee, VT. Climbing into a dark crawlspace below the unit, PERCH determined that the floor joists were inadequate and that a metal column providing interior support was crushing the wood beam above. PERCH developed a procedure to lift the floor to level with minimal disturbance to interior finishes. PERCH also designed two options for a permanent support system.
